We're all of a flutter!
There's more than a flutter of excitement at Elie Holiday Park as Butterfly Conservation Scotland unveil new butterfly interpretation boards at key butterfly hotspots on the Fife Coastal Path at Ruddons Point, Kincraig and the forest path near to Cocklemill Burn.
Duncan Davidson of Butterfly Conservation Scotland said: "We're delighted to partner with Abbeyford Leisure and their Abbeyford Active programme. The flower rich dunes and grasslands along this part of the coast are a natural habitat for many of our beautiful butterflies and moths. We ask visitors to see how many they can identify and to send details of their sightings to: firstname.lastname@example.org ."
To celebrate the unveiling of the new information boards, holiday home owners, holidaymakers and visitors are invited to join butterfly experts Hamish Johnston and Duncan Davidson on a guided family wildlife walk around Elie Holiday Park's Ruddons Point on Wednesday 8th July, 10am - 12 noon.
