Abbeyford Leisure helps to bring back wildflowers
St Andrews Holiday Park General Manager, Geoff Little, joined Fife Council's Biodiversity Team and a group of volunteers on Saturday to help restore wildflowers along Fife's coastal grasslands.
The team of 'bracken bashers' spent a hot and sunny day at Craig Hartle, close to St Andrews Holiday Park, for the practical conservation event which aimed to clear bracken to enable Fife's natural wildflowers to bloom.
Fife Council's Biodiversity Co-ordinator said: "Thank you for everyone's hardwork and enthusiasm at Craig Hartle. We did a really great job and covered the largest patch of bracken, which is fantastic. Thanks again to Geoff from Abbeyford Leisure for your support and for the very welcome refreshments and cakes."
