A small, intimate park in a prime coastal location

This tranquil park situated on the outskirts of the ancient fishing village of St Monans is an ideal base for walking and exploring the local area. From the park, it is an easy stroll to the village with its 1st century church. Once inside be sure to look up at the ancient sailing ship suspended from the ceiling.

On the other side of the park is the recently restored windmill, which was used to pump the salt water into the saltpans for drying.

As well as exploring the immediate vicinity, which boasts the remains of a 16th century castle, there is direct access to the Fife Coastal Path and the beautiful Isle of May National Nature Reserve is a spectacular boat trip away from neighbouring Anstruther.

Find out more about what to do in the local area at Visit Scotland's website dedicated to The Kingdom of Fife.
