Sandford Country Cottages forms part of Sandford House, a B-Listed Arts and Crafts House steeped in history and designed by the well-known architect, Mackay Hugh Baillie Scott, around 1902.

The properties have been lovingly restored in keeping with the Arts and Crafts style of the older part of the house and are set around a beautiful courtyard at Sandford House.

Each cottage has its own entrance door and most have the added luxury of their own sun terrace or balcony, with all properties sharing the seven-acre garden, ideal for picnics, walking or just relaxing in the dappled sunlight, beneath a canopy of mature trees.

Finished to an exceptionally high standard, every cottage has an open plan kitchen, living and dining area with a log fire (apart from the Red Squirrel) and all are furnished in a boutique-style with a mixture of contemporary and antique furniture. The treehouse is popular with children and adults alike and our barbecue hut is also available for guests to hire during their stay.

All kitchens have a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and coffee machine and most have washing machines too. Each living area has comfy sofas, TV, DVD player and an iPod dock, Bluetooth speaker or Sonos sound system. Free superfast WiFi is provided throughout.

Every bedroom has en-suite facilities, with either a bath/shower or a dedicated power shower. Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries are provided in each bathroom along with fluffy white towels and bath mats.

Beds are either super king, king size, double or twin, and have luxury duvets with Egyptian cotton bed linen. Microfibre bedding can also be provided if required. 

We accept up to two well-behaved dogs in the Lady Bluebell Cottage Apartment.

The Coach House is perfect for anyone with mobility considerations. All rooms are are one level (including easy, level access from the car park) and doors are wide, perfect for wheelchair users. The property also benefits from a large easy access wet room.
